This study has shown that modelling and simulation is a feasible approach for evaluating NPR solutions in the developing context. The model can represent different network models, patient types and performance metrics to aid in the evaluation of NPR solutions. Using the current model, more case studies can be investigated for various public health issues - such as the impact of disease or regional services planning.en_ZA
