dc.description.abstract | This memo describers some of the important properties and manipulations of Hypergeometric Functions which my be useful in MATHLAB. A convention for representing the function is adopted which is readily adaptable to LISP operation. The most general tye of HGF with which we will be concerned is a function of a single variable, x, and is parametricized by "a" list, of length p, and a "B" list, of length "q". the latter consists, in general, of atoms; the argument is usually x, but may also be a simple function of x. | en_US |
