dc.description.abstract | We indicate how to extend the Risch algorithm to handle a class of special functions defined in terms of integrals. Most of the integration machinery for this class of functions is similar to the machinery in the algorithm which handles logarithms. A program embodying much of the extended integration algorithm has been written. It was used to check a table of integrals and it succeeded in finding some misprints in it. | en_US |
